Easy Everyday Happy Pink Crochet Sweater Pattern

The Everyday Happy Pink Crochet Sweater

The Everyday Happy Pink Crochet Sweater pattern is part of our Hobbii Yarn collaboration and is available as a paid PDF download, hosted and managed by Hobbii on their site. We have recently had requests for paid PDF patterns and have decided to start a small collection in collaboration with Hobbii to meet this demand. However we are keeping all the patterns posted directly on this website free to access. Put simply, that’s what we love to do…encourage crocheters to make their own beautiful clothing and post what we love for free.

Read on for more fun details about The Everyday Happy Pink Crochet Sweater, Kiks + Jack Crochet and Hobbii collab design, and you will find the direct link to Hobbii’s website and the paid pattern below.

The Everyday Happy Pink Crochet Sweater

The Everyday Happy Pink Crochet Sweater is a long, lightweight pullover designed to be a modern staple in your wardrobe. It has a relaxed fit and a classic crew neckline, so it feels comfortable and easy to wear, while still looking stylish and put together. We called it the Everyday Happy Pink Crochet Sweater because we genuinely reach for it all the time. It’s soft, cozy, and we love the cheerful pink color. It makes us feel so happy every time we wear it!

One of the things we love most about this sweater is the yarn choice. Happy Place Yarn comes in both solid colors and melange shades, and we chose the melange because we love the way the color shifts adding extra depth and interest to a simple stitch pattern. We have used the solid colors in other patterns too, and they are all gorgeous. Check out the Classic Cropped Crochet Sweater and The Sea to Sky Laced Crochet Top.

The Everyday Happy Place Crochet Sweater

Happy Place Melange is a 50/50 cotton and superwash wool blend, which gives the best of both fibers. The cotton keeps the fabric light and breathable, while the wool adds softness, warmth, and a lovely drape. We love how this sweater is warm but doesn’t feel heavy. If pink isn’t your thing, there are so many beautiful colors in the Happy Place range. We are currently eyeing Aubergine, Matcha, and Harbour for a totally different vibe. With our goal always focused on encouraging more beginners to make the leap from blankets and dishcloths (which we also love!) to wearables, we kept the construction simple. The stitch pattern is intentionally easy and works up quickly, using a mesh-style design with lots of “crocheting into spaces,” so the sweater moves along fast and stays fun and relaxing to make. Because the stitches are open and airy, the finished fabric feels lightweight while still being cozy. We love that this sweater can be worn on its own, as a first layer, or as a second layer, making it a piece you can reach for across all seasons. If you enjoy projects that feel satisfying and quick to finish, this one will get you to the finish line, fast!

Let’s talk about the sleeves too! We added small tie-string bows at the cuffs so you can gently cinch them in for a softer, more playful shape. They are completely optional – and wide sleeves would also look super modern – but we love how the bows add a really sweet finishing touch and give the sweater a bit of extra personality. You can leave them off for a cleaner, more classic look, or include them if you love subtle details that make a handmade piece feel special. Style-wise, this sweater is incredibly easy to wear. We are wearing ours with jeans for everyday wear, layered over a tank, or worn under a cardigan (crocheted of course) or jacket.

Please note for our Hobbii collaborations, patterns are written using standard commercial sizing as this is required for patterns hosted on the Hobbii platform. All of our free crochet patterns hosted on our blog are written using a made-to-measure approach, which we enjoy designing with because it is simple to follow and easys to customize.

Have fun!
