Styling the Boho Bell Sleeve Crochet Top
We all know how great it is to find a crochet pattern that produces a garment you can wear over and over again. You put so much love, time and money into each piece – so it’s extra special when you crochet something that you get maximum usage out of it!! The Boho Bell Sleeve Crochet Top is definitely one of those garments.
Style it casual with jeans and shorts, or style is as formal wear! Crochet it in black and wear it with a long maxi skirt monochromatic style. Crochet it a little more oversized and wear it over a dress. The great thing about this top is that it works from casual to formal.
You will also love how it crosses the seasons. For the Kiks + Jack Crochet version it got cropped pretty short and a few inches were taken off the sleeve. It keeps us cooler in the warmer weather. However with the colder months ahead, you could crochet it longer for both the main panel and the sleeve length.
The Crochet Yarn
Iwona recommended us a beautiful and affordable yarn called Alize Diva (Silky Effect). We had never crocheted with this brand before. It’s microfibre but feels a little like mercerized cotton. It comes in so many colours, and we used the colour Teal (Colour 646). You get a generous 383 yards (or 350 m) per 100g skein. For our version we used approximately 2.5 skeins and a size 3.5 hook. The smaller hook gave us a beautiful, tighter almost knit like stitch.
You could also try crocheting this in other yarns including premium acrylic. A warmer yarn, with a longer length would definitely take this top into the colder months.

Pattern Tips & Customizations
The Boho Bell Sleeve Crochet Top Pattern is written as a made to measure size inclusive pattern. We cropped the pattern on the sleeves and cropped it on the main body panel, however it would look amazing in a longer length too.
The pattern has some beautiful picot stitching around the sleeve closer to the elbow. If you love that romantic lacy style, definitely check out the original version on Iwona’s IG account @knotedthread. We left ours out but would definitely consider crocheting it back in for a totally different feel.
